Marcus Dreher - Content Development, Co-owner of LearnGlazing
Marcus started in the glass and glazing industry in 2002 after working with civil engineering and process controls companies. In 2006 he started MP Drafting & Design which has now grown to more than 15 employees and does drafting and engineering work across North America.
Marcus partnered with Chris Martin to start LearnGlazing.com as a resource for new project managers in the glass and glazing industry. Through our contacts with the drafting business we constantly heard the need for a training option for this industry, and thus LearnGlazing.com was born!
Alex Buechel - Creative Director
Alex started his career with Temo Sunrooms in early 2002. His eagerness to learn quickly moved him into an instructional role with the company and he became responsible for all custom and complex projects. In 2007 at Walz Engineering, Alex would now design for the top 5 enclosure companies nationwide. In 2010, he was recruited by Macomb Community College as a part time instructor for his technical and illustrative drawing techniques. He continues to teach there.
In 2014, Alex joined Glass and Metal Craft as their graphic designer. Shortly after he became the decorative glass manager and eventually stepped into the Creative Director role managing all custom glass applications, as well as the company’s brand and message. In 2020, Alex joined the team at LearnGlazing to help develop new content and instructional materials. You’ll see him around.
Chris Martin - Sales and Marketing, Co-owner of LearnGlazing
Chris has an extensive background in the marketing growth and development of various brands in both the industrial and automotive product retail industries. Chris has been supporting the marketing efforts of MP Drafting in the glazing industry for over four years and was instrumental in the creation of LearnGlazing.
Chris realizes that one key to growth is supporting the glazing front office. It’s his mission to provide a training resource that is highly concentrated on supporting project managers and other front office new hires.
John Gilbert - Account Manager
John began his career in the service industry as a Regional Operations Manager with Nu-Tech Cleaning Systems. In 2004, when Nu-Tech decided to focus more on their products division, John took a position as a Business Marketing Specialist with UNIBAR Building Services.
John accepted a position with MP drafting in 2016 as Project and Account Manager where he has grown to head all account and marketing activities. He works closely with the LearnGlazing team to help with account management and develop personal relationships with our customers.
Holly Feagle - Operations Manager
Holly’s career began as an account manager for the J. Ryder Group – Hole in One Programs in 2011. In 2014, she switched gears to partner with a friend to run an event staffing business, Brand Greet LLC, where she curated social media content, and staffed and managed brand ambassadors and promotional models for both in-store demos and trade shows across the US.
In 2018, Holly accepted a position with MP Drafting as Executive Assistant to Marcus, where she assisted in the development of LearnGlazing helping to establish the core 10 courses and more. Holly has since moved into the Operations Manager role for LG and ensures everything is running smoothly, while maintaining social media content and marketing.
